Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Kalyanam
The sacred wedding ceremony of Sri Satyanarayana Swamy, our presiding deity — celebrated each year as part of CVHTS's founding anniversary, and open to any family wishing to sponsor the occasion.
What happens during the Kalyanam
Priests dress and adorn the murti of Sri Satyanarayana Swamy as a bridegroom and perform a full ceremonial wedding pooja, reciting the wedding mantras before concluding with aarti and prasadam for everyone present.
Sponsoring the Kalyanam
Sponsor families are recognized during the ceremony and receive the first prasadam. Several families are welcome to co-sponsor the same Kalyanam.
When it's held
Performed each year around CVHTS's founding anniversary in late May. A private Kalyanotsavam can also be booked on another date — call the temple office to arrange.
